<<< SITE RULES >>>
Virtue && Violence HP Future Literacy: Highly Intermediate - Advanced
1. Our site literacy is listed as advanced, although we will occasionally accept those who are intermediate and show potential for literary growth. Writer's block sucks, and it happens to even the best of us, but try to keep each post to a minimum of three paragraphs. The only way to make yourself a better writer is to push yourself even when you think you've giving all you've got. Also, our psting format is third person, past tense.
2. When it comes to canon characters, please make sure you can keep them active. Also, you may only claim one canon. Canons are special, so make your single choice count! Original characters are just as much fun as canons, and are just as welcome.
3. Be active. Do not join, make a character sheet, get accepted, and just leave. Seriously. It's not cool, it's not fun for us, and it's just a waste of time. You must post at least one in-character post a week for originals, and at least two a week for canons. If you go two weeks without posting the minimum, and have not posted a notice of absense, you will loose your character.
4. Please treat others how you would like to be treated. If you have issues with something, than please inform the site administration. Do not attempt to start a fight on the board, or voice your complaints in the CBox. This will lead to unpleasant consequences. We are here to play and have fun, it is expected that you conduct yourself in an adult manner.
5. All avatars placed on the site can be no larger than 122X203. All signatures and other graphics should be no larger than 445 Pixels Wide and 200 Pixels Tall. This keeps our pages from being stretched.
6. Feel free to use the 'In Character Chat Box'. Only accepted characters are allowed into the in-character Chat Box. No using characters you just plan on making, or just have an application in the pending applications board for. If we find out you're pretending to be someone else's character in the Chat Box, there will be serious consequences. Actions that your character is making should be in some sort of symbol, such as in -'s or *'s. Text that is outside the symbols is dialogue (being said out loud). If you would like to employ an avatar, and we hope you do, the dimensions for them are 50 px by 50 px.
7. Claims are first come first serve, and you must post a notice if you want to claim something. For instance, if you want to claim a celebrity, you must post in the face claim, or else that celebrity is still considered available. If you do not post in the claim and a new member comes along and does post in the claim, then the new member gets the claim.
